About Us


We are CentDS | Centre for Digital Systems, an engineering and technology start-up and consultancy based in Leeds. We are specialised in engineering simulations techniques such as Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA).  Our main goal is to make the Industry 4.0 revolution a reality for our customers through a combination of advanced digital prototyping, machine learning and Internet of Things.

We are experts in advanced R&D techniques and key Industry 4.0 themes such as:

  • Engineering simulations: we use Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to create accurate digital models of real-life processes and products.
  • Data Analysis and Machine Learning: we are able to discern trends and support decision-makers with compelling analysis of available data. We employ a diverse range of machine learning algorithms, from straightforward linear regression techniques to more complex artificial neural networks.
  • Optimisation: we combine the predictive capabilities of engineering simulations with suitable statistical and machine learning techniques to optimise processes and designs.
  • Internet of Things (IoT): we are developing a minimum viable IoT product which addresses key issues in the formulated goods industry (FMCG, Pharma, Chemicals)
